Policies

Reservation Policy

 

Deposit Required

A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 AUD is charged at time of reservation. The balance of accommodation is due 14 days prior to arrival for low season bookings and 30 days prior to arrival for high season bookings. 

 

Special Requests

Please note that we endeavour to accommodate any special requests, but we are unable to guarantee these prior to arrival due to any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Specific bedding configuration requests are subject to availability.

 

Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in time is from 2.00pm. Guests that arrive earlier and can store any luggage until the apartment is ready. Check-out time is prior to 10.00am - late check-out after this time may incur an extra night’s charge. If the hotel is fully committed on the departure date, late departures or extensions not already confirmed will not be permitted. If you are arriving outside of reception hours please contact the resort to confirm the after-hours arrival procedure. Early departures are required to settle any outstanding charges the evening prior to departure with reception.

 

Reception Hours

Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm / Saturday- 8am to 3pm / Sunday – 8am to 2pm (and public holidays).

*Please note reception is closed on Christmas Day.

 

Car Parking
Underground parking is available on site. You agree to enter the car park at your own risk, spaces are not guaranteed or pre-allocated. Reef Club Resort does not accept any responsibility for damages or loss to your property or property belonging to someone else. 

 

Number of Guests

Please be aware that reception will require the exact number of guests staying in an apartment at Reef Club Resort to be confirmed on check-in. This will ensure we have the correct number of guests in-house should we need to evacuate the resort in an emergency. All guests signing registration cards on check-in must be 18 years or above.

 

Damage to Apartment/Breakages
The guest who registers at check-in/arrival will be held accountable for any damage to the apartment and contents during the stay dates. The registered guest will be liable for damages caused (including those by third parties visiting the apartment) which will result in forfeiting any deposits, pre-payment, cash security deposit and also may be subject to additional charges. We reserve the right to process any charges in addition to accommodation to the presented credit card supplied at check-in/arrival.

 

Apartment Allocation
Apartments reserved in each reservation are guaranteed, specific apartment numbers (within the type reserved) and floor allocations are subject to availability upon check-in/arrival and cannot be pre-allocated or guaranteed. Higher and/or upgraded apartment types need to be reserved at time of reservation to be guaranteed. If for any reason the apartment type reserved is no longer available at the time of check-in/arrival, Reef Club Resort will provide a substituted apartment of equal or greater value and standard at the same rate confirmed. In extreme cases, we may have provided a substituted an apartment at a lower standard or value in which case the nightly rate will be adjusted to reflect this. In the unlikely case of Reef Club Resort having to relocate guests to a nearby apartment or hotel of a similar standard, we will offer transportation to the alternate accommodation and cover the cost of this arranged accommodation or alternatively offer a full refund to allow the guest to choose alternate accommodation of their choice.


Cash Policy

If a guest is not able to travel with a credit card we will accept cash in Australian dollars at the time of check-in/arrival. Full pre-payment of the entire accommodation charge along with a cash security deposit will be required. We reserve the right to reject reservations and subsequently cancel them if the guest cannot provide enough cash to cover this. All cash paying guests must agree to allow Reef Club Resort to make a photocopy of at least one form of government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in/arrival.
The minimum cash security deposit required (in addition to the full accommodation charge) is $200.

The cash security deposit will be refunded after an inspection of the apartment by a hotel representative has been conducted and the apartment is deemed in the same condition at the time of check-in/arrival.

 

Amenities & Servicing

The following amenities are included in all apartments for arrival:

  • Bedding linen, blankets and pillows

  • Kitchen tea towels, dishwashing liquid, Laundry Powder/Liquid

  • Starter pack of bathroom amenities including; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, soap and toilet roll

  • Pool towels are available for hire from reception

  • Additional amenities can be purchased as required from reception

Reef Club Resort offers a mid-stay service for stays of 7 or more nights. Additional servicing can be arranged with reception at an additional charge per service.

 

Guest Courtesy

We respectfully ask that noise is kept to a minimum so everyone can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay. We request that any non-registered visitors leave all apartments by 11.00pm each evening. Please also extend this courtesy to our neighbours when entering and exiting the building or car park.

 

No Party Policy

Any person/s found to be creating excessive noise or having a party in the apartment or exceeding the number of permitted guests will be evicted without refund. Please contact reception should you experience other guests causing you discomfort.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Low Season

Up to 14 days prior to check in - Loss of $200 deposit. Between 14 days and 48 hours prior to check-in, the cancellation fee is 100% of reservation value. Within 48 hours prior to check in, cancellations are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Amendments to date are subject to availability and may incur additional charges to the nightly rate if the new dates are advertised at a higher rate.

 

High & Peak Season

Up to 30 days prior to check in - Loss of $200 deposit. Between 30 days and 48 hours prior to check-in, the cancellation fee is 100% of reservation value. Within 48 hours prior to check in, cancellations are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Amendments to date are subject to availability and may incur additional charges to the nightly rate if the new dates are advertised at a higher rate.
